In 1963 Ulrich Schreiber founded the air transport company Friesenflug. With connections to Sylt and Wyk auf Föhr, he re-established a long tradition, which had been interrupted by World War II: flying tourists from the big cities to the seaside resorts.
In 1978 Kasimir Samp followed him as the owner and established a regular connection between Hamburg and Sylt in the summer season.
When Samp retired in 1998 he sold the company to Peter Siemi, owner of Sylt’s AEROLINE.
